Following the revision of three Palaearctic species genus Hoplomachus, it appeared that sole Nearctic Hoplomachus affiguratus is misplaced in this genus. In addition to a redescription its external morphology, male and female genitalia are illustrated for first time. A generic level analysis presumedly related Phylinae lead us erect Delphiphylus n. gen. with only included (Uhler, 1895) comb.

The anthocorid Montandoniola moraguesi (Puton), an oligophagous predator of thrips, is widely used as a biological agent. It was introduced in 1964 from the Philippine Islands to control Cuban laurel thrips (Gynaikothrips ficorum) Bermuda, and then Hawaii other localities. Examination specimens various parts world, study type specimens, indicate that several species have been confused since 1960’s under name (Puton, 1896). present paper brings: (1) redefinition M. moraguesi; (2) restoration...

SummaryIn Miridae, the roof (dorsal wall) of female genital chamber (bursa copulatrix) is often neglected in taxonomic studies, rarely represented its entirety and importance usually underestimated. It contains several organs that are relevant for taxonomy phylogeny, namely ringed glands (parieto-vaginal glands) encircled by widely used sclerotized rings, spermathecal gland (vermiform gland), lateral oviducts; it may also display various “dorsal sacs” or pouches other poorly known...
