Abstract In this study, a novel recyclable, hydrophobicity foam with excellent oil/water separation based on polyurethane (PU) and polypropylene glycol (PPG) grafted stearic acid (PGGA) has been developed. PGGA was simply synthesized by the esterification of PPG, while PU/PGGA fabricated reaction PPG methyl diphenyl diisocynate (MDI) addition PGGA. The exhibits improved oil adsorption capacity, water rejection as well selectivity increase weight loadings. presence at high loading (≥ 5 wt.%)...
<title>Abstract</title> In this work, the incorporation of halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) and polyphenylene ether-grafted maleic anhydride copolymer (FB) into acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)/polyphenylene oxide (PPO) blend has been investigated with aim enhancing compatibility performance blends. ABS/PPO (AP) weight ratio = 70/30 5 wt.% loading FB different contents HNTs were elaborated by melt blending process, their properties studied. The SEM observation revealed that AP exhibited...
