Salinity threat is estimated to reduce global rice production by 50%. Comprehensive analysis of the physiological and metabolite changes in plants from salinity stress (i.e. tolerant versus susceptible plants) important combat higher conditions. In this study, we screened a total 92 genotypes selected most line (SS1-14) (SS2-18) conduct comparative metabolome inspections. We demonstrated that managed maintain their water chlorophyll content with lower incidence sodium ion accumulation. also...

Mangrove-dwelling microalgae are well adapted to frequent encounters of salinity fluctuations across their various growth phases but lesser studied. The current study explored the adaptive changes (in terms biomass, oil content and fatty acid composition) mangrove-isolated C. vulgaris UMT-M1 cultured under different levels (5, 10, 15, 20, 30 ppt). highest total was recorded in cultures at 15 ppt (63.5% dry weight) with uncompromised biomass productivity, thus highlighting 'trigger-threshold'...

Expression levels of the NAC gene family were studied in rice infected with Rice dwarf virus (RDV), black-streaked (RBSDV), grassy stunt (RGSV), ragged (RRSV) and transitory yellowing (RTYV). Microarray analysis showed that 75 (68%) OsNAC genes differentially regulated during infection RDV, RBSDV, RGSV, RRSV compared control. The number upregulated was highest RGSV infection, while lowest found RTYV infection. These phenomena correlate severity syndromes induced by infections. Most subgroups...

Abstract Bioprospecting for biodiesel potential in microalgae primarily involves a few model species of and rarely on non-model species. Therefore, the present study determined changes physiology, oil accumulation, fatty acid composition properties microalga Messastrum gracile SE-MC4 response to 12 continuous days nitrate-starve (NS) nitrate-replete (NR) conditions respectively. Under NS, highest content (57.9%) was achieved despite reductions chlorophyll content, biomass productivity lipid...

This study aimed to investigate the effect of dietary lysolecithin (LYSO) and lipase supplementation on productive performance, nutrient retention, meat quality broiler chicken fed a low energy diet. For this purpose, total 360 chicks were randomly alienated into six treatments, having replicates (no = 10) birds each replicate. The treatments followed as control (CON normal diet), LE (CON-100 kcal/kg from BD. basal LIP 0.04 (LE + 0.04% lipase), LYSO lysolecithin), 0.08 (LE. 0.08%...

Importance Clinical observations of immediate improvement in fraction inspired oxygen (FiO 2 ) a proportion cases is often cited as the rationale for using inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) management acute pulmonary hypertension among very preterm neonates (gestational age, <32 weeks). However, clinical effectiveness such response pattern remains underinvestigated. Objective To identify factors associated with predischarge mortality receiving iNO hypertension, specific priori emphasis...

Bacterial panicle blight and seedling rot diseases in rice plants (<i>Oryza sativa</i> L.) are caused by the pathogenic bacterial <i>Burkholderia glumae</i>. The nanosilicon treatment is gaining attraction but its effectiveness towards <i>B. glumae</i> infection seedlings through regulating enzymatic activities remains largely unexplored. This study aimed to evaluate bio-efficacy of controlling disease regulation peroxidase polyphenol oxidase enzymes after...

Importance Antenatal corticosteroids (ACS) are accepted to be most effective in reducing prematurity-related neonatal mortality and morbidity when administered 1 7 days before birth. However, precise data on the optimal timing of administration scarce. Objective To investigate association between ACS birth interval as a continuous variable outcomes among preterm neonates. Design, Setting, Participants This national retrospective cohort study was conducted from 2018 2021 at level III...

Nitrate is required to maintain the growth and metabolism of plant animals. Nevertheless, in excess amount such as polluted water, its concentration can be harmful living organisms microalgae. Recently, studies on microalgae response towards nutrient fluctuation are usually limited lipid accumulation for production biofuels, disregarding other potential used wastewater treatments source important metabolites. Our study therefore captures need investigate overall metabolite changes via NMR...
