The North China Plain (NCP) has been suffering from groundwater storage (GWS) depletion and land subsidence for a long period. This paper collects data on GWS changes in situ groundwater-level measurements, literature, satellite observations to provide an overview of the evolution aquifer system during 1971–2015 with focus sub-regional variations. It is found that showed prolonged declining rate −17.8 ± 0.1 mm/yr 1971–2015, negative correlation abstraction before year ~2000 positive after...

Abstract The full pore size distribution represents the integrated characteristics of micro‐nano pore‐throat systems in tight reservoirs. And it involves experiments different scales to fully analyze microscope properties. In this paper, we established a new approach for characterization through conducting high‐pressure mercury intrusion (HPMI) and low‐temperature nitrogen gas adsorption (LTN 2 GA) experiments. Meanwhile, studied petrology feature sandstones X‐ray diffraction (X‐rD) TESCAN...

Hydraulic fracturing is the significant technology for exploiting tight resources. Spontaneous water imbibition an important mechanism governing process of hydraulic fracturing, and from fracture into matrix essential factor that affects reservoir production performance. In this study, experiments nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) testing were combined to analyze fluid flow core samples in a pore-scale level. The categorized two systems, gas/water/rock system oil/water/rock system. NMR...

Abstract Graphite is considered to be the most auspicious anode candidate for potassium ion batteries. However, inferior rate performances and cycling stability restrict its practical applications. Few studies have investigated modulating graphitization degree of graphitic materials. Herein, a nitrogen‐doped carbon‐coated carbon fiber composite with tunable (CNF@NC) through etching growth, in‐situ oxidative polymerization, subsequent carbonization process reported. The prepared CNF@NC...

The linear relationship between relative permeability ratio (Kro/Krw) and water saturation (Sw) on the semi-log coordinate in stage of middle water-cut is theoretical basis for derivation traditional flooding characteristic curve. However, Kro/Krw versus Sw deviates from straight line high stage, which results upwarping In order to accurately predict production performance recoverable reserves late development curves actual cores were averaged. Furthermore, using core data reference, a new...

Nanofluids have been effective chemical additives for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) in tight reservoirs due to their special properties. However, imbibition recoveries vary different nanofluids. The oil/water distribution rocks during using various nanofluids was less discussed previous studies. In this study, we systematically examined the efficiencies of at 60 °C. Furthermore, migration and rock pores were monitored nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). prepared by dispersing silica...
