54 medicinal plants used by the tribals of Balphakram Sanctuary in Meghalaya are reported this paper. In enumeration all speicies arranged alphabetically and family names lccal (Garo names) also given. Detailed uses these as suggested natives mentioned. It is, however, 'to carry out chemical screening to identify active principles before concluding any thing on their uses.

The Valley of Flowers National Park is in the Garhwal Himalayas and this paper provides a list plant species found there with their flowering time, altitude range distribution, habit vegetation, climate topography. rare plants deserving conservation have also been listed.
A new species of Dubyaea (Asteraceae), D. forrestii Mamgain & R.R.Rao, from the Burma/China border is described, illustrated and compared with atropurpurea. The affinities to atropurpurea are discussed.
The present paper deals with the different life form categories and biological spectrum of flora Tons Valley in Garhwal Himalaya. It includes Phanerophytes (29.06%), Nano-phanerophytes (6.47%), Chamaephytes (22.19%), Hemicryptophytes (2.11%), Geophytes (2.64%), Hydrophytes Helophytes (8.58%), Therophytes (17.83%), Lianas (10.43%), Epiphytes (0.66%). comparison Raunkiaer's normal depicts ”Hydro- Chamaephytic Phytoclimate.”
Abstract Aconitum (Ranunculaceae) in North‐West Himalaya is represented by ten species and two varieties.
