This paper presents a comprehensive study of parameter estimation for three-phase induction motors (IMs) using hybrid optimization methods and comparative evaluation static dynamic modeling approaches. A metaheuristic combining the Sine Cosine Algorithm (SCA) Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is developed to identify optimal motor parameters efficiently. The approach utilizes model rapid estimation, with final values validated against ensure accuracy in operational predictions. Results...

This paper have studied the dynamic of a 2.0 MW Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) during severe voltage sag. Using model DFIG, it was possible to determine current, Electromagnetic Force and flux behavior three-phase symmetrical dip. Among technologies wind turbines DFIG is widely employed; however, this machine extremely susceptible disturbances from grid. In order improve Low Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT), proposed novel solution, using Superconducting Current Limiter (SCL) in two...

Mercury superconductor samples doped with rhenium, Hg0.82Re0.18Ba2Ca2Cu3O8+d, were produced in a very narrow range of oxygen content (d = 0.05, 0.10 and 0.15). The lattice parameters indicated slight change the unitary cell as function content. Furthermore, reduction volume was associated increment TC. measurements χac versus temperature, under external hydrostatic pressure, have shown sensitive results distinct In our opinion, this kind measurement may be used tool to determine (underdoped,...

A preliminary study of a small superconducting current limiter device based on Hg0.8Re0.2Ba2Ca2Cu3O8+δ, (Hg,Re)-1223 ceramic is described. fault test at 60Hz confirmed reduction in the density value, from 1.55×102to0.82×102Apeak∕cm2. The prospective/limited ratio observed was ∼1.9 for 0.24cm thick sample, without any damage to superconductor. recovery indicated that polycrystalline sample kept its properties and had not shown modifications stoichiometry. In conclusion, can be used build devices.

Wind turbines based on doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) have been increasing their participation in electrical grid. However, for these turbines, grid faults are a great issue. During voltage transients, the EMF induced rotor is increased due to sudden flux variation. High leads high currents circuit that could be hazardous power electronics converter. A novel hybrid multilevel converter proposed this article. The combination of traditional three-phase and monophasic full-bridge...

Speed measurement in Induction Motors (IM) consists a major barrier to the implementation of vector control low-power applications. To overcome this issue, many estimation strategies were developed. In particular, Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) provides good results with relatively low computational cost. This work proposes application 6th-order EKF make rotor speed and flux an RFOC-MPCC (Rotor Field Oriented Control - Model Predictive Current Controller). The effectiveness approach was...
