Abstract Since delamination always occurs in the laminate structures of fiber reinforced polymer composites engineering applications, developing self‐healing has become more and important nowadays, especially for large‐scale composite equipment, which is difficult to maintain when service. In this paper, micromechanical finite element (FE) models are developed matrix containing microcapsules. Based on mesoscale FE simulation cross reference related experimental results, we firstly reveal...

Abstract An interlaminar ultrafine spraying method was proposed for monolayer graphene oxide (GO) modified CFRP nanocomposite laminates. The well‐dispersed GO nano‐solutions were prepared by multi‐level dispersion and then sprayed on carbon fiber/epoxy prepreg the atomizing technique. A series of GO/CFRP laminate specimens with different loadings fabricated our fracture toughness tests SEM characterization. test results indicated that Mode I () enhanced 140% quite a low fraction nanosheets....
