The Internet of Things (IoT) revolution has shown potential to give rise many medical applications with access large volumes healthcare data collected by IoT devices. However, the increasing demand for privacy and security makes each device an isolated island data. Further, limited computation communication capacity wearable devices restrict application vanilla federated learning. To this end, we propose advanced learning framework train deep neural networks, where network is partitioned...

Reflecting upon China's current path of regional urbanization, this research studies the polycentric structure megaregions. It defines concept and measurement for megaregional polycentricity utilizes spatial statistics tool—standard deviational ellipse directional distribution—to measure demographic pattern individual The result reveals that most megaregions in China do not have significant polycentricity. They are either dominated by a single major center or number centers clustered...

Previous researches often claim the benefits of technology business incubators (TBIs). There is, however, little systematic evidence TBIs' role in promoting local economic growth China where regions are different development stages. Furthermore, no study has examined contribution to convergence. This paper aims answer this question, based on panel data Chinese national and host cities from 2008 2012. The results indicate that there exists convergence both nationwide western been found...

This study aims to examine the key policy paradigms and strategy dynamics that drive development of aircraft spacecraft manufacturing (ASM) in China. Using Science & Technology activities data Chinese ASM from 1995 2010, we find government technology enterprise both are positively related innovation performance ASM. Our results also indicate industry is more dependent on improvement domestic than foreign import. Furthermore, indigenous has been chosen by China as main paradigm. Finally,...
