Abstract The aim of this study was to explore the feasibility using different 3D printed internal geometries as tablet formulations obtain controlled release profiles. In order controllable profiles, three types models (Cylinder, Horn and Reversed Horn) with structures were designed. cylinder model shows a constant profile can keep drug concentration within certain range. horn exhibits an increasing profile, which is suitable for patients who have resistance in course medication. reversed...

Process physics understanding, real time monitoring, and control of various manufacturing processes, such as battery manufacturing, are crucial for product quality assurance. While ultrasonic welding has been used joining batteries in electric vehicles (EVs), the physics, process attributes, heat generation flow during process, is still not well understood leading to time-consuming trial-and-error based optimization. This study investigate thermal phenomena (i.e., transient temperature flux)...

Effective control of fluid dynamics is remarkable scientific and practical significance. It hypothesized that nanoparticles could offer a novel means to dynamics. In this study, laser melting was used investigate the feasibility tuning by possibly breaking existing limits conventional processing techniques. Alumina reinforced nickel samples, fabricated through electrocodeposition, were for experiments. Since melt pool surface controlled dynamics, topographies carefully studied reveal...

Silicon wafers with standard sizes and shapes have served as the batch fabrication platform for microfabrication of micro/nano devices decades. However, there is a strong demand to fabricate on other engineering materials (e.g. titanium, stainless steel, diamond, ceramics) complicate designed important applications. Unfortunately it extremely difficult meet due various challenges involved during microfabrication. Here we present novel which can be used facilitate thin film substrates...
