A bimodal grain structure Ti–22Al–25Nb alloy with enhanced ductility is fabricated from the blended powder mixture of argon gas atomized and mechanically alloyed by spark plasma sintering. The microstructure effects mass fraction on compression properties are investigated. This shows microstructure, which coarse regions surrounded ultrafine grained matrix. Compared sintered 100% powder, this containing 20% exhibits fracture elongation to improve 20.5%.
In the hot plate rolling process, ideal symmetric condition cannot be always ensured and rolled may turn up or down. The factors associated with curvature are as follows: temperature difference, roll speed mismatch, diameter frictional reduction rate, ingoing thickness, so on. ratio must occur when reprocessed work rolls used. So, it is important to determine range of admissible which causes very narrow ensure a normal rolling. authors investigate influence on during seven passes reversing...
The flow stress evolution of a fine‐grained Ti 2 AlNb‐based alloy fabricated by mechanical alloying and subsequent spark plasma sintering is experimentally acquired for different deformation conditions. Isothermal uniaxial compression test conducted in the temperature range 950–1070 °C strain rate 0.001–1 s −1 . Based on experimental with friction correction, modified Johnson–Cook model strain‐compensated Arrhenius‐type are established α + β/B2 O triple‐phase B2 two‐phase fields. average...
The effect of the post inoculation by using newly developed Sb–Ba–Ce–Si–Fe inoculant on microstructural and mechanical properties as‐cast pearlitic ductile iron is investigated. chemical composition 56.1% Si, 1.4% Ca, 3.5% Ba, 4.9% Ce, 10.3% Sb Fe. simultaneously carried out with nodularizing treatment graphite in a ladle. reasonable additive amount 0.2%. When added 0.2%, pearlite content 90%, there are 270 spheroidal nodules per 1 mm 2 . In addition, size 30–40 μm, layer thickness pearlites...
With the rapid development of world aviation industry, demand for aeronautical titanium alloys is increasing day by day. A stable and alloy market has been formed. Based on analysis industrialization status quo in United States, Russia, Japan China, problems industry China are put forward. In order to solve these problems, it suggested develop advanced processing technologies, adjust industrial structure further improve material standards alloys.
