The objectives of this study were to report a recipe for making antibiotic impregnated Plaster Paris (AI-PoP) beads using penicillin, ampicillin, tetracycline, tulathromycin, and florfenicol determine the in vitro elution rates those antibiotics beads. AI-PoP made powder, antibiotic, water, cured 24 h, sterilized by ethylene oxide, stored up 5 months before testing. For each 20 combined with bovine serum sterile tubes incubated at 37°C on rocker. Serum was replaced intervals over 14 days...

A nine‐month‐old Boer Buck presented for an acute onset of pelvic limb ataxia. Radiographs, complete blood count and serum biochemistry were within normal limits. cerebrospinal fluid analysis yielded eosinophilic pleocytosis, consistent with nematodiasis. Treatment ivermectin, non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatories, fenbendazole range motion exercises resulted in partial recovery function five days. Within months post treatment the buck’s ambulation had returned to a gait.

A one‐year‐old crossbred ram presented for acute respiratory distress. Initial diagnostics revealed compression of the pharynx by a spherical, avascular mass. The was initially managed with tracheostomy, antimicrobials and non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatories. Advanced imaging confirmed pharyngeal abscess which lanced via endoscopic‐guided laser procedure. While synergistic haemolysin inhibition (SHI) testing negative, Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis cultured from exudate, indicating false...
