This paper investigates the impact of laser infrared radiation on surface modification DLC coatings. The authors found that texture created coating resulted in improved properties (smaller coefficient friction). They also observed certain fluency, waveform, frequency, and head scanning speed led to creating a relevant depth groove without completely removing thin (about 4 µm) coating. applied can be beneficial under conditions, for example, when coated parts work lubricated conditions....
