In this paper we show a first approach to the three dimensional reconstruction of spatially resolved neutron depolarization data. We will measurements with position sensitive CCD detector on longitudinal polarization analysis setup using 3He polarizers and analyzers installed at radiography beamline ANTARES FRM II, Munich. A tomographic data acquired an inhomogeneous Pd1−xNix sample shows that method is powerful tool identify regions different magnetic properties inside sample.

3D vector polarisation analysis called also SNP (Spherical Neutron Polarimetry) is a powerful method for the detailed investigation of complex magnetic structures. The precise control incoming and scattered neutron polarisations essential this technique. Here we show an instrumental setup, that was recently implemented on new single crystal diffractometer POLI-HEiDi at FRM II performing experiments using two 3He spin filters production polarisation. design optimisation procedure used filter...

Gaseous 3He neutron spin filters (NSF) are simple transmission devices, with predictable characteristics, that do not require any special optical adjustments on a beam. Since polarized nuclei of possess very high spin-dependent absorption efficiency over wide range energies, the NSF can be used as broadband polarizer or analyzer, possibility to optimize its for nearly all wavelengths. In 2005 facility large-scale production highly gas, HELIOS, was put into operation at FRM-II.

In the paper we present results obtained for effect of rotation (ROT) in angular distribution prompt $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ rays from fission $^{235}\mathrm{U}$ induced by monochromatic polarized ``warm'' neutrons (${E}_{n}$ = 60 meV). The polarization vector direction is determined at target position order to correctly determine sign measured effect. asymmetry parameter was found be equal...

Originating from the demand for obtaining depth‐resolved magnetization profiles thin films and heterostructures, polarized neutron reflectometry (PNR) has developed into a unique research tool, which also finds application in analysis of superconducting or soft matter films. While certain situ sample environments such as gas‐loading humidity cells were quickly realized after PNR first emerged, preparing growing magnetic directly beam could only be recent years. Herein, dedicated insight is...

A new design of a magnetostatic cavity for housing neutron spin filter with spin-polarized 3He gas at instrument is proposed. Movable components made soft magnetic materials allow an accurate tuning the homogeneity holding field within and, thus, ensure long relaxation time. In addition, this enables to correct in presence external source near cavity, which usually case experiments polarization analysis.
