The susceptibility of finite-density QCD matter to vorticity is introduced, as an analog magnetic susceptibility. It describes the spin polarization quarks and antiquarks in induced by rotation. We estimate this quantity chirally broken phase using mixed gauge-gravity anomaly at finite baryon density. proposed that vortical responsible for Λ $$ \overline{\varLambda} hyperons observed recently heavy ion collisions RHIC STAR collaboration.

The evolution of a driven quantum system is said to be adiabatic whenever the state stays close an instantaneous eigenstate its time-dependent Hamiltonian. celebrated theorem ensures that such pure adiabaticity can maintained with arbitrary accuracy, provided one chooses small enough driving rate. Here, we extend notion closed systems initially prepared at finite temperature. In this case implies (mixed) quasi-Gibbs diagonal in basis eigenstates We prove sufficient condition for temperature...

We introduce a microscopic model aimed at describing the behavior of fermionic excitations in background magnetic texture called ``spin-vortex checkerboard.'' This was proposed previously as possible alternative to stripes interpret experimental phenomenology spin and charge modulations 1/8-doped lanthanum cuprates. The involves two kinds interacting residing spin-rich spin-poor regions modulated structure. It is generalization another developed earlier for so-called ``grid principal terms...

We prove fundamental rigorous bounds on the speed of quantum evolution for a system coupled to thermal bath. The are formulated in terms expectation values few-body observables derived from system-bath Hamiltonian. They do not rely Markov approximation and, as consequence, applicable beyond limit weak coupling.

И.А.Бунин и М.А.
