Abstract. Urbanization affects air pollutants via urban expansion and emission growth, thereby inevitably changing the health risks involved with pollutants. However, related to urbanization are rarely estimated, especially for cities complex terrain. In this study, a highly urbanized city severe pollution terrain (Chengdu) is selected explore issue. The effects of further compared growth because quality management usually achieved by regulating anthropogenic emissions. Air in Chengdu was...
Abstract Two novel predefined‐time control algorithms for a nonlinear strict‐feedback system are proposed in this short communication. It is required that the upper bound of convergence time exactly positive constant parameter each algorithm, and it can be selected arbitrarily by users. Composite state tracking errors introduced to backstepping design process using some smooth time‐varying tuning functions. In order address problem explosion complexity first second algorithm extends strategy...
Ultraviolet irradiated sodium chlorite (UV/NaClO2) solution was introduced to remove nitrogen oxide (NOx) from simulated flue gas in a bench-scale scrubbing reactor. Effects of UV irradiation time, NaClO2 concentration, NO inlet pH value, and O2 concentration were investigated separately. Results showed that with pretreatment achieved remarkable promotion NOx removal efficiency. The ClO2 produced photodecomposition aqueous substantially improved the absorption process. efficiency by...
Abstract Water cycle has been intensified by global warming, leading to frequent extreme climate events. Drought is an phenomenon. Runoff decrease and human water demand increase aggravate the shortage of regional ecosystems, affecting land ecosystems causing ecological drought, river cutoff pollution. Finally, reverse succession imbalance structures take place. The clarification concept drought for effective evaluation degree become urgent important scientific issue be resolved. Therefore,...
The mass transfer reaction kinetics of NO absorption by UV/chlorine advanced oxidation process were investigated in a lab-scale photochemical bubble reactor. Effects several parameters on rate studied, including UV power, inlet concentration, SO2 active chlorine concentration electrolyzed seawater, and temperature. Results showed that increased gradually with the increase but was almost independent temperature (below 313 K). is pseudo-0.2-order respect to NO, as well pseudo-0.6-order...
Actual evapotranspiration (Ea) plays a key role in the global water and energy cycles. The accurate quantification of impacts different factors on Ea change can help us better understand driving mechanisms changing environment. Climate vegetation variations are well known as two main that have significant change. Our study used three differential Budyko-type equations to quantify contributions climate First, order establish relationship between parameter n, which usually presents land...
A novel adaptive quantized predefined-time control scheme is proposed in this brief for a class of uncertain nonlinear strict-feedback systems. Composite state tracking errors and composite estimation error are utilized backstepping design with introducing two time-varying tuning functions. It shown that the output can be steered to an arbitrarily small neighborhood origin within user-predefined time, which exact parameter. The provided upper bound settling time less conservative compared...
