The overwhelming majority of the literature in area supply chain planning and scheduling considers traditional make-to-stock (MTS) environment. However, manufacturers assembled products such as cars, computers, furniture, etc. adopt build-to-order (BOSC) to become agile a mass customization process order meet diversified customer requirements. In this paper we propose an integrated production–distribution model for multi-echelon, multi-plant multi-product operating (BTO) uncertainties...

In this paper, a visual, data-driven operational level lean maturity model is developed. The can be used to assess the of in seven axes manufacturing cells. A case study carried out for gathering data analysis and explanatory results. Results show that developed measure overall leanness through each axis. applied by practitioners as framework design develop company-specific model.

Outpatient cancer treatment centers can be considered as complex systems in which several types of medical professionals and administrative staff must coordinate their work to achieve the overall goals providing quality patient care within budgetary constraints. In this article, we use analytical methods that have been successfully employed for other show how a clinic simultaneously reduce waiting times non-value added process has series steps, more than one involves scarce resource. Abstract An approach to study the whirling motion of BTA (boring trepanning association) deep hole boring system is presented by introducing excitation in form internal forces between bar and workpiece. This involves nonhomogeneous boundary conditions with homogeneous equations. The mathematical bar-workpiece cutting external suppression will transform problem into equations homogenous conditions. Using this obtained at different points on assembly. External reduce whirl amplitude same...

In this paper, the concept of sensor-based behavior is used to design a neuro-fuzzy control system for car-like-mobile-robot. The problem addressed parallel parking in rectangular constrained space with just one backward maneuver. To accomplish autonomous fuzzy control, car-like-mobile-robot has trained park 2 dimensions based on training data obtained from sensor information generated offline by adopting fifth-order polynomial as reference trajectory. proposed controller an ANFIS...

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy control scheme for tracking a class of continuous-time plants is presented. A parameterized Sugeno approximator used to adaptively compensate the plant nonlinearities. All parameters in are tuned using Lyapunov-based design. approximator, first-order consequents IF-THEN rules system, which has better approximation capability than those constant consequents. Global boundedness system established. Finally, simulation demonstrate effectiveness proposed controller.

In this paper, we address an instance of the dynamic capacitated multi-item lot-sizing problem (CMILSP) typically encountered in steel rolling mills. Production planning is carried out at master production schedule level, where various end items lot sizes are determined such that total cost minimised. Through incorporating technological constraints associated with manufacturing process, integrated production–inventory formulated as a mixed integer bilinear program (MIBLP). Typically, class...
