An external cavity wavelength-fiber ring laser (ECWTFL) based on a semiconductor optical amplifier and combined wavelength scanning filter in the Littrow configuration is proposed experimentally demonstrated. With benefit of combination an Lyot filter, achieves single-mode narrow linewidth output with 1.75 kHz. The tuning range reaches 133 nm, covering entire S + C band.
