As part of the safety evaluation gastric antisecretory drug, omeprazole, toxicological studies have been performed in several species animals. The acute toxicity after oral administration to rodents was low. LD50 value above 4 g/kg. general repeated has studied rats and dogs. No clinical signs adverse reactions were seen. Some minor changes hematology parameters observed. In mice decreases erythrocyte count, hematocrit hemoglobin occasionally found at doses 125 mumol/kg/day more. Hyperplasia...

Arm lymphedema is a well-recognized complication after breast cancer surgery that negatively impacts patients' quality of life, both physiologically and psychologically. Lymph stasis inflammation result in excess formation adipose tissue, which makes removal the deposited subcutaneous fat necessary to eliminate volume. Liposuction, combined with postoperative controlled compression therapy (CCT), only treatment gives complete reduction The aim this study was evaluate 5-year results...

Background: Arm lymphedema after breast cancer surgery affects women both from physical and psychological points of view. Lymphedema leads to adipose tissue deposition. Liposuction controlled compression therapy (CCT) reduces the completely. Methods Results: Sixty female patients with arm were followed for a 1-year period surgery. The 36-item short-form health survey (SF-36) was used assess health-related quality life (HRQoL). Patients completed SF-36 questionnaire before liposuction, 1, 3,...

Abstract Whole body autoradio‐grams of mice injected intravenously with (‐)‐nicotine‐methyl‐C 14 show an initial accumulation radioactivity in the CNS. This high concentration nicotine and/or its metabolites brain disappears within 30 min to 1 hour. Autoradio‐grams cat a similar following i. v. injection C ‐nicotine. The distribution picture changes time after injection. Only one metabolite, viz. cotinine, has been found occur brains and cats. possible existence receptors is discussed.

The nucleoprotein (N) gene of Hendra virus (HeV), an unclassified member subfamily Paramyxovirinae in the family Paramyxoviridae previously known as equine morbillivirus, was cloned and sequenced. majority deduced amino acid sequence further confirmed by direct sequencing peptide fragments N protein derived from purified virions. 3' untranslated HeV mRNA 568 nt much longer than that observed other Paramyxovirinae. 532 acids length with a molecular mass 58.5 kDa. Although had slightly higher...
