Recent experiments demonstrated that the essential electrospinning mechanism is a rapidly whipping dielectric liquid jet in an electric field. The effects of three kinds field distributions including very nonuniform field, slightly and uniform were studied to analyze influence distribution on process fiber morphology. average strength Eav nonuniformity coefficient f used describe results show length range straight path for stable was function distribution. part increased with decreasing f....

Evaluating the deterioration state of archeological wood is obligatory before preservation wooden artifacts. Herein, a nondestructive, accurate, and rapid methodology first developed via direct analysis in real time-mass spectrometry (DART-MS) with chemometrics to classify recent into 3 groups according their states. As water artifacts probably affected ion fragmentation process during DART-MS, ions responsible for evaluating were separately screened toward waterlogged dried by partial...

Fe(PO3)3 with different morphologies has been synthesized using H3PO4 and Fe2O3 as starting compounds by microwave sintering. The structure of resultant samples were characterized X-ray diffractometry, thermogravimetry/differential scanning calorimetry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy. crystals obtained from sintering have high thermal stability good micromorphology. crystal transformation the synthesis mechanism are simply discussed.

The influence of ferric oxide content on the performance melt-derived ferrimagnetic glass and fibers was investigated in this work. Ferrimagnetic within ferrosilicate system were prepared by spinning method. effect microstructure mechanical properties examined. X-ray diffraction analysis showed presence magnetite with spontaneous crystallization for all samples. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) indicates that size is less than 30 nm diameter. surface microstructure, magnetic hysteresis...

Abstract PAAs can be further functionalized (hydroxylation and alkoxylation) by side chain substitution. In this study, we synthesized a SiPAAOH containing hydroxyl siloxane groups based on the Aza-Michael addition reaction applied it for reinforcement of aged paper. The results showed that optimum conditions synthesis were as follows: monomer molar ratio APTES to EtA was 0.7:0.3, solvent system reinforced paper ethanol/water = 1:5 (v/v). alkaline could increase pH 7.68, improve amount...
