Molecular breast imaging (MBI) technologists must have a combination of both nuclear medicine skills and mammographic positioning skills. Currently, no formal programs offer this type hybrid technologist training. The purpose perspective is to provide best-practices guide for performing MBI. Familiarity with best practices may aid in obtaining high-quality MBI examinations by decreasing the likelihood image artifacts, problems, other factors that contribute false-negative or false-positive findings.

Breast lesions closer than 2 cm to the chest wall are difficult position in field of view dedicated breast PET (db-PET) systems. This inability detect such is a significant limitation these The primary objective this study was determine if modifications design imaging table and detector used for db-PET system would enable improved visualization tissue close wall. All studies were performed on commercially available (Mammi-PET). A central square section table, containing standard 180-mm...

Network structure of SiO2 and MgSiO3 at 300 K 3200 is investigated by molecular dynamics simulation visualization data. Structural organization clarified via analysis the short range order (SRO) intermediate (IRO). topology determined analyzing bond between structural units, cluster units as well spatial distribution units. The polyamorphism dynamic heterogeneities are also discussed in this work.

The structural organization of CaSiO3 glass at 600 K and under pressure 0–100 GPa is investigated by molecular dynamics simulation (MDS). Results show that the atomic structure comprises SiO n CaO m units considered as basic polyhedra. At low pressure, most polyhedra are SiO4, CaO5, CaO6 CaO7. high SiO5, SiO6 CaO9, CaO10 CaO11. distribution not uniform resulting in formation Ca-rich Si-rich regions. SiO5 also uniform, but it tends to form SiO4-, SiO5-, SiO6-clusters. For Si–O network,...
