An 8‐month multicentre prospective randomized study aimed at comparing the effects of dopamine receptor agonists pramipexole (PPX; Mirapexin®) and pergolide (PRG; Permax®) as add‐on to L‐dopa therapy on depression [Montgomery Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS)] in 41 non‐demented patients (25 men, 16 women) suffering from both mild or moderate advanced Parkinson's disease (PD). The assessment was performed by a blinded independent observer. Motor symptoms (UPDRS III), motor complications...

We report the first mode-locked, thulium-doped fiber figure-eight laser. The mode-locked oscillator produces 1.5-ps pulses with 63 pJ of pulse energy at a 10.4-MHz repetition rate 3-nm bandwidth center wavelength 2034 nm. After amplification, are compressed to 370 fs ~ 50 nJ energy. can also operate in square regime, yielding stable from 100 ps 20 ns long per after amplification.

Abstract Gallium oxide (Ga 2 O 3 ) is an emerging wide‐bandgap transparent conductive (TCO) with potential applications for high‐power optical systems. Herein, Ga fabricated nanostructures are described, which demonstrate laser induced damage threshold (LIDT). Furthermore, the demonstration of electron accelerator based on gratings reported. These unique provide acceleration gradients exceeding those possible conventional RF accelerators due to high breakdown . In addition, and performance a...
