Varietal data from 27 crop species five continents were drawn together to determine overall trends in varietal diversity on farm. Measurements of richness, evenness, and divergence showed that considerable genetic continues be maintained farm, the form traditional varieties. Major staples had higher richness evenness than nonstaples. Variety for clonal was much other breeding systems. A close linear relationship between variety (both transformed), empirically derived spanning a wide range...

In this paper, we present a method for hyperspectral retrieval using multispectral satellite images. The consists of the use training spectral data with compressive capability. By principal component analysis (PCA), proper number basis vectors are extracted. These properly combined and weighted by sensors’ responses from visible MODIS channels, achieving as result Once channels used retrieval, spectra projected over recovered data, ground-based process can be reliably detected. To probe...

The correct identification of minerals is crucial task for the exploration and exploitation mineral resources, environmental monitoring, industrial processes. In this article, we propose a hyperspectral imaging system classification model to identify nine types minerals. To accomplish this, employed shortwave infrared (SWIR) camera capture images. We then introduce convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture that considers only spectral data, complemented by fully connected...

This study proposes a technique to classify and identify different wood species by analyzing the spectral emission during combustion time lapse of samples. Homogeneous samples from four were combusted in temperature-controlled furnace, emitted spectra measured using calibrated spectrophotometer. Discontinuous associated with Na K emissions, while continuous used calculate optical variables such as flame temperature, total radiation, energy. A classification model based on XGBoost algorithm...

Flame reconstruction, an indispensable tool in combustion diagnostics, improves the understanding of radiative characteristics flame and can be derived from emission spectrum. This paper investigates feasibility spectral reconstruction low resolution sensor data, namely digital colour cameras capturing visible light (RGB). Two techniques are evaluated: Maloney-Wandell method, which requires accurate characterisation sensitivity function (SSF), a kernel-based regression avoids need for...

In this work we analyze the spectral emission of flame emitted by burning biomass, different species wood such as Cypress, Fig, Olive and Pine. The analysis was carried out to distinguish sensing compounds Sodium Potassium at 582 nm 780 nm. Also, a for samples contents water. results show that is possible make difference between biomass species, new technique can be implemented will allow estimation water content in using spectrum burned wood.

A flame emits energy over a wide spectral region, and its associated spectra contain both continuous discontinuous components, closely related to the combustion process current state. However, non-linear turbulent nature of flame, high dimensionality data, overlap between emissions requires use complex method obtain valuable information for closed loop-control optimization.

Flame spectroscopy is a technique widely used to analyze combustion processes. In flame, energy emitted across wide spectral range, and its corresponding spectra can be classified in both, continuous discontinuous behaviors. Optimizing combustion, has the potential maximize efficiency, thus reducing fuel consumption emissions of residual gases. In the present study, we analyzed spectral emission of sodium and potassium elements in flame emitted by wood from a burning Eucalyptus Globulus tree. The main analysis is performed on single tree, taking different samples at heights trunk, visible width between 400 850 [nm], where can be observed around 589 [nm] 766 770 [nm].
