In September 2022, the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) organised a workshop in Estoril, Portugal, 'Review and Revision of System Protection: A Focus Research Priorities'. The workshop, which was side event European Radiation Week, offered an opportunity to comment recent paper published by ICRP areas research support Protection. Altogether, about 150 individuals participated workshop. After 16 30 organisations formal relations with provided written feedback. All...
An inter-laboratory comparison of a small-scale field experiment was conducted in the framework Korea retrospective dosimetry network (KREDOS) to verify reliability and compatibility thermoluminescence optically stimulated luminescence techniques for accident dosimetry. Three institutes participated this comparison, including Atomic Energy Research Institute, Institute Nuclear Safety University Salzburg. Two adult CIRS torso phantoms were used as virtual subjects exposed high-activity Ir-192...
The Korea Retrospective Dosimetry network (KREDOS) performed an inter-laboratory comparison to confirm the harmonization and reliability of results retrospective dosimetry using mobile phone. phones were exposed 192Ir while attached human phantoms in field experiment, exposure doses read by each laboratory compared. This paper describes reference present values for inter-comparison obtain additional information about dose distribution. Reference included both measurement LiF:Mg,Cu,Si...
A study on retrospective dosimetry was performed using electronic personal dosimeters (EPDs) for reconstructing doses received by radiographic testing workers. The dosimetric properties of the thermoluminescence (TL) peak in temperature range 100-200 °C were investigated measuring TL resistor extracted from EPDs a darkroom environment. Results showed that this exhibited optimal properties, with minimum detectable dose as low 13 mGy. To calculate absorbed resistor, simplified single aliquot...
