Chromatin remodeling complexes are essential for gene expression programs that coordinate cell function with metabolic status. However, how these remodelers integrated in stability pathways is not well known. Here, we report an expansive genetic screen chromatin and regulators Saccharomyces cerevisiae. We found that, unlike the SWR1 remodeler, INO80 complex composed of multiple distinct functional subunit modules. identified a strikingly divergent signature Ies6 module links to homeostasis....

Physical activity improves quality of life and extends independence in older adults. Yet, how to motivate adults engage physical is unclear. In the present study, 4108 women, aged 70–99, reported they motivated themselves move when did not feel like it, their hours walking each week. Findings indicated that participants who endorsed more strategies had walking. Strategic categories correlated with include focusing on benefits utilizing surrounding environment help movement.

Background: Integrated treatments for depression (and associated anxiety) and obesity are lacking; mechanisms poorly investigated. This mechanistic pilot trial tested the degree to which engaging pre-specified neural targets at 2 months produces desired outcomes 6 months. Methods: Adults with a body mass index (BMI) of ≥30 (≥27, if Asian) Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) score ≥10 were recruited from academic internal medicine clinics between March 1, 2019 19, 2020, followed until...
