Exposure to particulate matter less than 2.5 µm in diameter (PM2.5) is a cause of concern cities and major emission regions northern India. An intensive field campaign involving the states Punjab, Haryana Delhi national capital region (NCR) was conducted 2022 using 29 Compact Useful PM2.5 Instrument with Gas sensors (CUPI-Gs). Continuous observations show that increased gradually from < 60 µg m-3 6-10 October up 500 on 5-9 November, which subsequently decreased about 100 20-30 November. Two...

Early diagnosis of life-threatening illnesses, like cancers and neurological disorders, is crucial for enhancing patient survival rates, minimizing treatment expenses, the administration early medical intervention. Yet, conventional diagnostic techniques are usually beset by issues that include high reliance on expert opinion, time consumption, fluctuating accuracy—particularly during initial phases disease progression. The availability huge datasets, coupled with recent explosion in...

The corrosion inhibitive action of flower extracts Magnolia champaca on mild steel in 0.5 M H2SO4 solution was studied using weight loss method, potentiodynamic polarization and EIS measurements. results obtained indicate that the functioned as good inhibitors solution. Inhibition efficiency found to increase with extract concentration. adsorption constituents plant surface metal is proposed for inhibition behavior.

Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are rare of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Intermittent GI bleeding is most common manifestation. Massive leading to syncopal episodes and hemorrhagic shock a presentation these tumors. Herein, we describe case jejunal GIST presenting as massive bleeding.

<title>Abstract</title> Air pollution impacts on human health are of serious concern in northern India, and over the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) particular. The Kharif crop residue burning (CRB) is often blamed for degradation Delhi-NCR’s seasonal air quality. However, concentration fine particulate matter (PM2.5) remained stable Delhi, while fire detection counts (FDCs) from satellites Punjab Haryana declined by 50% or more during 2015-2023. We further analysed measurements PM2.5,...

Low-cost sensors have revolutionized air quality monitoring, however, precision is questioned compared to reference instruments. Hence, the performance of two widely used PM2.5 Sensors, Purple Air (PA) and ATMOS, were evaluated over a 10-month period in North Western-Indo Gangetic Plains (NW-IGP). In-field collocation with Beta Attenuation Monitor found low R2 values; 0.40 for ATMOS 0.43 PA. To calibrate improve accuracy sensors, five Machine Learning (ML) models an empirical relative...
