Pengamatan tentang pola sebaran dan zonasi krustasea di hutan bakau perairan Teluk Lampung telah dilakukan pada bulan Maret April 2007. Terlihat adanya pemilihan habitat dari krustasea, sehingga terjadi zonasi-zonasi walaupun tidak terlihat jelas mulai bagian pantai (air) ke daratan (mangrove). Pola umumnya mengelompok, sebagian acak cenderung mengelompok.
Penelitian keanekaragaman kepiting pada ekosistem mangrove di Perairan Lingga dan sekitarnya telah di-lakukan bulan Oktober 2014. Observation of crustacean fauna in Anambas Islands waters was conducted from 20 May to 4 June 2002. The selected locations were Ranap Island, Matak Pemutus Akar and Jemaja Island. aim this study know the diversity evenness species. Sampling by applying quadrant transect other collections.
