Using the fluorescent method in modification of Krasnoyarsk State University, we studied development (as chlorophyll content, ∑CHL) and photosynthetic activity phytoplankton seven large flat reservoirs Volga River cascade (Russia) August 2015–2017. In period maximal warming water, average ∑CHL varied limits 19.4–33.7 μg L−1 Upper Volga, 8.5–27.8 Middle 5.2–11.3 Lower Volga. The coefficient (PhAC) mostly 0.12–0.59, with an 0.22–0.38 only 2017 decreased to minimal < 0.10 0.20. PhAC values...

Abstract On the basis of field observations in 2009–2019, seasonal and long-term dynamics chlorophyll at six standard stations Rybinsk Reservoir is considered. The fluorescence method used to determine chlorophyll. average content varies from minimum 3.5–10.8 maximum 16.9–40.5 μg/L different years 12.0 station 5 (Sredny Dvor) up 21.6 2 (Mologa) on for entire period. characterized by spring; summer; and, some years, autumn maxima. With same type dynamics, change varying degrees coupled...

The long-term data on structural characteristics of phytoplankton and zooplankton (2004)(2005)(2006)(2007)(2008)(2009)(2010)(2011)(2012)(2013), as well chlorophyll content in the water bottom sediments (2009)(2010)(2011)(2012)(2013)(2014) Rybinsk Reservoir (Upper Volga, Russia) were analyzed. It was shown that modern climate changes lead to transformation state dynamics biological communities is characteristic trophicity increase. After abnormally hot summer 2010 a sharp rise with predominance...

Long-term observations are necessary to analyze and predict changes occurring in biological communities under global regional climatic changes. The data on seasonal long-term dynamics of chlorophyll plankton the Rybinsk Reservoir (Upper Volga, Russia) obtained May – October 2009–2019 at six standard stations using fluorescence method presented. In years with contrasting hydroclimatic conditions water regime, content varied from 1–3 >100 μg/L. significant variability mean values (7.9 ± 0.5...

A review of the literature shows that biochemical methods arecommon in hydrobiological investigations marine and freshwater environments serve as an alternative to labor- time-consuming microscopic accounts phytoplankton biomass. Photosynthetic pigments analyzed by means spectrophotometric, fluorescent, or chromatographic are most often used markers Taking into account high pigment diversity algae, high-performance liquid chromatography seems be perspective method for assessment total...
