We demonstrate a classical analogue of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) in highly flexible planar terahertz metamaterial (MM) comprised three-gap split ring resonators. The keys to achieve EIT this system are the frequency detuning and hybridization processes between two bright modes coexisting same unit cell as opposed bright-dark modes. present experimental verification two-bright mode coupling for EIT-MM context numerical results theoretical analysis based on coupled Lorentz...

We demonstrate experimentally and theoretically dielectric metamaterials exhibiting a tunable range of negative effective permeability in the terahertz spectral region (0.2--0.36 THz). Our structures consist an array intrinsically nonmagnetic rods made incipient ferroelectric ${\text{SrTiO}}_{3}$ which shows high permittivity. The magnetic response its tuning are achieved by temperature control permittivity ${\text{SrTiO}}_{3}$, defines resonant confinement electromagnetic field within rods.

In this article, a new medical communication scheme, protocol wireless sensor networks for the efficiency of healthcare (PWMSN4EoCH), shorten by (PEH), which uses hasty strategy and random network coding (RNC), is proposed. The concept improves performance network. It quickly analyzes description, focusing on some basic parameters narrowband Internet Things (NB-IoT) systems in mesh (WMNs). This PEH effectively meets requirements prescribed telemedicine applications sensors (MSs) share...

We present a design of dielectric metamaterials exhibiting broad range negative effective permeability in the terahertz spectral region. The investigated structures consist an array high-permittivity rods that exhibit series Mie resonances giving rise to magnetic response. positions depend on geometrical parameters and their permittivity, which define resonant confinement electromagnetic field within rods. coupling between adjacent is negligible. With suitable aspect ratio rods, broadband...

The analog to digital conversion is an elementary part of the modern electronic systems. Almost all existing ADCs (Analog Digital Converters) are based on uniform sampling theory. It makes signal acquisition time-invariant. Therefore, it can render a useless increase system activity, especially in case sporadic signals. Thus, adaptive rate ADC which cross-level devised. adapt its activity according input local variations. provides intelligent leads towards efficient solution. proposed...

The design of a multisource metamaterial-based cavity antenna operating at about 9 GHz is presented. A 2×2 microstrip patch array acting as the embedded in an ultra-thin (λ/22) shows directivity enhancement 4.2 dB with regard to monosource fed (23.2 instead 19 dB). Moreover, sidelobes are considerably decreased cavity.

Interferometric optical profilometers are increasingly used for the characterization of static deformation micromechanical devices and Micro(Opto)Electromechanical Systems (M(O)EMS). Recent works have shown that they can also be full field dynamic measurements provided a stroboscopic light source is added or time averaging interferograms performed. In this work we investigate two methods to make quantitative time-averaged microscopic interferometric measurements. Both based on calibration...
