Abstract We propose a method to measure the electron electric dipole moment (eEDM) using ultracold entangled francium (Fr) atoms trapped in an optical lattice, yielding uncertainty below standard quantum limit. Among alkali atoms, Fr offers largest enhancement factor eEDM. With based experiment, sensing states could enable search for eEDM at level 10 −30 e cm. estimate statistical and systematic errors attached proposed measurement scheme on this technique. A successful of exploration new...
