Abstract A straightforward, fast, and versatile technique is developed to fabricate nanofibrous scaffold with excellent hydrophilicity, mechanical properties, biocompatibility for tissue engineering. The thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) nanofiber fabricated by utilizing electrospinning, then its surface modified through simply immersing it into cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) dispersion subjecting ultrasonication. results show that the CNF particles are successfully absorbed on of TPU nanofiber....

This paper presents a moving object detection method with background subtraction and shadow removal in the RGB color space. For subtraction, metrically trimmed mean is employed as robust estimate of model absolute deviation (MAD) adopted scale estimate. A cascading chromaticity difference estimator, brightness spatial analysis are explored to discriminate object. Our experimental results validate good performance proposed method.

Nanocrystalline Mg-20 wt % Ti–Cr–Vx (x = 0.4, 0.6, 0.8; Ti/Cr 2:3) composites were synthesized by reactive ball milling of Mg and powders for 8 h under 5.0 MPa H2 at room temperature. The morphology, crystal structure, isothermal hydrogen ab-/desorption properties the materials investigated. as-synthesized nanocomposites comprise β-MgH2, γ-MgH2, Ti–Cr–Vx–Hy (1.88 < y 1.92) as confirmed X-ray diffraction analysis. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy images show that both β-MgH2...

Short-term load forecasting (STLF) is very significant for the planning and reliable operation of power grids. This paper proposes an STLF model by hybridizing ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) harmony search (HS) optimized support vector regression (SVR), namely EEMD-HS-SVR model. Firstly, original time series are decomposed into a set intrinsic functions (IMFs) residue EEMD. Secondly, both IMF components forecasted HS SVR. Finally, prediction values calculated sum every...
