Abstract Diesel engines are extensively used in heavy-duty transportation, power generation, and marine vehicles due to their superior thermal efficiency extended high-load operability compared spark ignition (SI) engines. However, combustion diesel is generally characterized by locally rich fuel-air mixtures high temperatures, causing significant amounts of soot NOx emissions from these Utilizing carbon-free alternative fuels enhancing fuel represent promising strategies mitigate greenhouse...

A Novel method based on discrete wavelet transform (DWT) for n-γ discrimination in high radiation flux is presented. We investigated the behavior of higher order wavelets from different families such as Daubechies family, symlets, and coiflet type pulse shape discrimination. DWT-based average analysis neutron γ-ray pulses suggests less sensitivity db2, db3, sym4, coif1 over widely used Haar charge comparison pile-up events. The DWT with proposed applied to a mixed field at an energy...

Abstract Four digital methods are investigated for neutron-gamma discrimination in organic scintillation detectors. A fast-digital pulse processing system has been used to optimize the PSD and investigate a mixed radiation field with light output range of 100 keV 5 MeV from an Am-Be source. The shape charge comparison, simplified collection, frequency gradient analysis, discrete wavelet transform method. performance each these assessed by calculating figure-of-merit probability...

<title>Abstract</title> Background: Electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) have gained popularity in the United States among adults and adolescents for social use as a smoking cessation tool. The increase of ENDS leads to concerns about their impact on public health. In States, are readily available purchase pose risks. Community pharmacists can play crucial role educating adult adolescent patients ENDS. Objectives: This study aimed understand Texas community...
