Abstract BACKGROUND Straw return may improve soil quality and crop yields. In a 2‐year field study, straw method (ditch‐buried return, DB‐SR ) was used to investigate the productivity effects on wheat–corn rotation system. This study consisted of three treatments, each with replicates: (1) mineral fertilisation alone ( CK0 ); (2) + 7500 kg ha −1 wheat incorporated at depth 0–15 cm NPKWS (3) ditch buried 15–30 NPKDW ). RESULTS enhanced yield improved biotical properties compared alone....
The pyrochlore iridate has been investigated by means of the electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy. A magnetic transition at 20 K is found in addition to 130 K, which not reported previously. phase , corresponds a resistivity transition, resulted from long-range spin ordering ions all-in/all-out state. However, regardless caused but ions. Both transitions are irrelevant lattice distortion. We suggest that competition between enhanced paramagnetism and f–d interaction should be...
3d-orbital filling in transition metal oxide is crucial to govern the catalytic activity oxygen evolution reduction, nevertheless, it not fundamentally accessible why specific orbital occupation produces a highest performance. Here, we utilize brownmillerite Ca2Mn2O5 clarify selective behavior due crystal field splitting and on-site coulomb interactions. Within density functional theory plus dynamical mean theory, shows paramagnetic Mott insulating at room temperature, consistent with...
Abstract Here, the structural, magnetic, and dielectric features of breathing pyrochlore LiInCr 4−x Co x O 8 were investigated. The XRD analysis showed changes in Cr–Cr length distorted CrO 6 octahedral as ion doping level rises. x-ray photoemission spectroscopy measurements that there are both 2+ 3+ ions compounds. difference between temperature-dependent magnetization curves during field cooling zero-field suggested is a spin-glass state, which was verified by heat capacity measurement....
A novel kind of AlInGaN ultraviolet (UV) light-emitting diode (LED) with an embedded AlN/Al0.3Ga0.7N distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) is proposed to enhance light extraction efficiency (LEE). The simulation technique we adopt calculate the LEE LEDs based on theory spontaneous emission in a layered medium, well-known mode-matching and scattering matrix approach. DBR was intentionally designed have peak reflectivity at LED wavelength optical properties were simulated by using transfer method....
Abstract Sr 2 IrO 4 has been shown to exhibit a novel J eff = 1 / Mott spin–orbit insulating state with antiferromagnetic ordering. In the present investigation, effects of Pr substitution at Sr-site on structural, magnetic and electrical properties are studied in . Pr-doped samples still retain behavior, but increase doping concentration, resistivity decreases. The show that long-range order is collapsed when content increases up 20%, which may results from competition between AFM (Ir 5 d...
We study the electronic and magnetic properties of an oxygen-deficient perovskite Ca2Mn2O5 based on first principle calculations. The calculations show that ground state is a D-type anti-ferromagnetic structure with spin coupling along c-direction. corresponding investigated, results display insulator indirect energy gap ∼2.08 eV. By partial density-of-state analysis, valence band maximum mainly contributed to by O−2p orbitals conduction minimum Mn−3d orbitals. Due Coulomb repulsion...
Herein, the structure and magnetic properties of breathing pyrochlore compound LiInCr 4− x Fe O 8 ( = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.5) are reported. Raman scattering experiments show hardening behavior active mode induced by increased ionic masses bond strength. The long‐range antiferromagnetic order spin‐gap state parent samples found to be suppressed with increasing content. average exchange couplings strongly systematically enhanced substitution. Bulk magnetization data substituted weak ferromagnetic...
We propose a network-model realization of magnetic higher-order topological phases (HOTPs) in the presence combined space-time symmetry $C_4\mathcal{T}$ -- product fourfold rotation and time-reversal symmetry. show that system possesses two types HOTPs. The first type, analogous to Floquet topology, generates total $8$ corner modes at $0$ or $\pi$ eigenphase, while second hidden behind weak phase, yields unique phase with $\pm\pi/2$ eigenphase (after gapping out counterpropagating edge...
In this study, LiGaCr 4− x Fe O 8 ( = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6) ceramics are synthesized using the solid‐phase reaction method. The effects of doping on lattice structure and dielectric properties systematically examined X‐ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy, measurements. It is found from XRD analysis that evolution constant decreases 8.2552 Å at 0 to 8.2449 0.6, demonstrating a contraction with doping. SEM shows grain size reduction irregular structures...
