Abstract Summary: Octaaminophenyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (OapPOSS) was used as a crosslinking agent together with 4,4 ′ ‐methylenebis‐(2‐chloroaniline) to prepare polyurethane networks containing POSS. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and thermogravimetric (TGA) were employed characterize the POSS‐reinforced polyurethane. The POSS‐containing PU displayed enhanced glass transition temperatures ( T g s) storage moduli of glassy...

A multifunctional hybrid porous material with a SBET of 1910 cm2 g−1 was prepared by the Friedel–Crafts reaction octavinylsilsesquioxane (OVS) tetraphenylethene (TPE). It exhibits highly selective adsorption for dye molecules and fluorescence detection metal ions. moderate CO2 capacity 1.42 mmol at 273.0 K/101 kPa is also found this material.
