The effects of a dried Bacillus subtilis culture on the egg qualities layers were studied. Nine hundred and sixty 25-wk-old Lohmann Brown randomly divided into 5 groups with 192 in each group. Layers group 1 fed control diet. remaining received diet that contained either 20 mg zinc bacitracin/kg 4 colistin sulfate/kg or 500, 1,000, 1,500 B. culture/ kg, respectively. results showed improvements production, feed consumption, conversion (P < 0.05) when 500 culture/kg was added to diets. also...

Our recent study found that antioxidative activity of phenolic compounds extracted from germinated chickpea was boosted in both vitro assays and oil-in-water emulsions [Xu et al. Food Chem. 2018, 250, 140]. The purpose this to elucidate the mechanism by which germination enhances chickpea. Liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray-ionization quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-QTOF-MS) size-exclusion multiangle-light-scattering refractive-index detection (SEC-MALS-RI)...

Microbial diversity of three typical Qu in China, Jimo wheat from Shandong province (WQJM), Shaoxing Zhejiang (WQSX), and Gutian Hong Fujian (GTHQ), was compared by Illumina-based sequencing. Then volatile compounds rice wine were analyzed FlavourSpec® to illustrate correlation between flavor microbes Qu. Results showed that the microbial WQJM > WQSX GTHQ, dominant microbiota each varied greatly. Saccharopolyspora, Staphylococcus Aspergillus main microorganisms WQSX. Microbes distributed...

In situ analysis of biomarkers such as DNA, RNA and proteins are important for research diagnostic purposes. At the level, plant gene expression studies rely on qPCR, RNAseq probe-based in hybridization (ISH). However, ISH experiments poor stability based probes commonly results detection or reproducibility. Recently, development availability RNAscope RNA-ISH method addressed these problems by novel signal amplification background suppression. This is capable simultaneous multiple target...

A new analytical method for the determination of carbendazim (MBC) and thiabendazole (TBZ) in apples is reported, based on solid-phase microextraction (SPME) coupling HPLC with fluorescence detection. The main SPME experimental conditions were optimized. first blended centrifuged. Then, an aliquot resulting solution was subjected to a 60 µm polydimethylsiloxane/divinylbenzene (PDMS/DVB) fibre 35 min at room temperature being stirred 1100 rev min–1. extracted pesticides desorbed mobile phase...

Barley malt is essential for beer production. In the present study, nonprolamin fractions including proteins with structural functions or metabolic activities were extracted from barley malts of widely used cultivars Gangpi and Baudin in China. The proteomes (pI 4-7) constructed compared using two-dimensional electrophoresis (2DE) followed by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-tandem time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF/TOF) identification. There 333 354 spots detected 2DE...
