Abstract Air pollution emissions from road vehicles majorly contribute to particulate pollution. This poses significant threats the environment and human health. Road dust contains various potentially toxic elements, which, when exposed humans, can lead severe illnesses such as asthma, cardiovascular diseases, cancer. study assessed adult health risks through accidental ingestion, inhalation, dermal contact associated with heavy metals (Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn) in (with a fraction size < 0.1...

In this contribution we deal with a new mathematical description of the response short-term coleoptile/hypocotyl expansion growth to temperature. Although interest both bio-mechanical basis elongation and temperature responses has been studied in plant biology biophysics for long time, yet question mode actions is very relevant still open. Here introduce simple idea that normal distribution, due central limit theorem (CLT), able report on temperature-dependent growth. The numerical fittings...

The time-irreversible cell enlargement of plant cells at a constant temperature results from two independent physical processes, e.g. water absorption and wall yielding. In such model growth starts with reduction in stress because irreversible extension the wall. expansion are spontaneous consequences this initial modification (the juvenile vacuolate, takes up expands). aspect arises Such theory expressed quantitatively by time-dependent equation was elaborated Lockhart 60's.The omit however...

Enlargement is one of the most fundamental activities plants, and there are many simultaneous processes involved. Several could be temperature-dependent, like metabolic cell wall sensitivity. A description plant elongation was elaborated by Lockhart in mid-60's last century form time-dependent differential equation. However, main disadvantage this approach missing environmental temperature at which growth takes place, as well lack representation factors influencing growth,...

In this study we propose a simple mathematical model based on the equilibrium equation for materials deformed elastically. Owing to turgor pressure of cells, peripheral walls outer tissue are under tension, while extensible inner is compression. This well known properties growing multicellular plant organs can be derived from equilibrium. The analytic solutions may serve as good starting point modeling growth single cell or an organ.

Basing on solution of Schrödinger equation for hydrogen wave function Ps was given. It allows us to calculate, instance angular correlation annihilation radiation (ACAR) such a system. shown that ACAR is much broad than bubble model.
