Samples of the empirical formula K2+Nix2+Co1−x2+SO42⋅6H2O were grown with a partial occupation cations Co and Ni. Mixed crystals good optical quality obtained by slow evaporation growth method. In decomposition process, these suffer mass loss approximately 24%, equivalent to water molecules forming octahedral coordination ions Ni Co. The characteristics measured where transmittance reached more than 80% in wavelength range 190–390 nm. By Raman spectroscopy, vibrational modes SO42−, H2O...

Objective: We present a 2D image overlay device to assist needle placement on computed tomography (CT) scanners.Materials and Methods: The system consists of flat display semitransparent mirror mounted the gantry. When physician looks at patient through mirror, CT appears be floating inside body with correct size position as if had 'X-ray vision'. draws optimal path image. composite is rendered thus reflected in mirror. used guide procedure. In this article, we describe design various...

We have obtained a set of crystals the empirical formula (NH4)2NixCo(1−x)(SO4)2 · 6H2O with different concentrations Ni and Co, by employing growth from solution technique. chosen monocrystal (NH4)2Ni0.3Co0.7(SO4)2 for structural analysis. The structure was resolved x-ray diffraction method refined full-matrix least-squares help SHELXS software. This crystal belongs to monoclinic space group P21/c parameters, = 6.2455 (2) Å, b 12.5065 (3) c 9.2303 α γ 90°, β 106.995 (3)°, V 689.49 Å3, Z 2....
