Abstract The novel two‐ and three‐dimensional solid materials [Cu(en) 2 (H O)]{PMo VI 8 V IV 6 O 42 ][Cu 0.5 (en)] 3 }·5.5H H {V Mo ] 4 }[MoO ·14H (en = ethylenediamine) have been hydrothermally assembled structurally characterized. Five novel heteropolyanions have been synthesized and characterized by IR, UV-vis, XPS spectroscopy, XRD, elemental analyses. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that these five compounds represent examples of based on the combination polyoxometalates, transition metal coordination complexes organic amines. Of which 1, 2 3 exhibit 0D structures polyoxometalate supported complexes, while 4 5 1D constructed from polyoxometalates complexes.
