Abstract A novel polyoxometalate compound, [As 8 V 14 O 42 (SO 4 )][Ni(en) 2 ] 3 ·4.5H ( 1 ), has been synthesized by a hydrothermal method and characterized X‐ray crystallography, showing that the compound is first example of sinusoidal layer structure constructed from polyoxometalates coordination complex fragments. Two novel compounds have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IR spectra single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. Crystal structure analyses reveal that 1 2 exhibit 2-D framework structures constructed from tungsten polyoxoanions, metal ions 4,4-byp units, respectively.

Abstract The novel two‐ and three‐dimensional solid materials [Cu(en) 2 (H O)]{PMo VI 8 V IV 6 O 42 ][Cu 0.5 (en)] 3 }·5.5H H {V Mo ] 4 }[MoO ·14H (en = ethylenediamine) have been hydrothermally assembled structurally characterized. Five novel heteropolyanions have been synthesized and characterized by IR, UV-vis, XPS spectroscopy, XRD, elemental analyses. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that these five compounds represent examples of based on the combination polyoxometalates, transition metal coordination complexes organic amines. Of which 1, 2 3 exhibit 0D structures polyoxometalate supported complexes, while 4 5 1D constructed from polyoxometalates complexes.
