Delirium is frightening for people experiencing it and their carers, the most common hospital-acquired complication worldwide. associated with higher rates of morbidity, mortality, residential care home admission, dementia, carer stress burden, yet strategies to embed prevention management delirium as part standard hospital remain challenging. Carers are well placed recognize subtle changes indicative delirium, partner nurses in delirium.
