We synthesized a novel Cu8 cluster and employed it as building block to further obtain copper cluster-based MOF material (CCMOF). Compared with the precursor, periodically constructed CCMOF exhibited better structural stability, showed enhanced photocatalytic H2 evolution performance due efficient mass/charge transportation benefitting from ordered porous framework structure. This two-step grafting construction strategy is of great significance exploration clusters in catalytic applications.
Developing promising luminescent probes for the selective sensing of nitro-explosives remains a challenging issue. Porous covalent-organic polymers are one excellent trace hazardous materials. Herein, fluorescent monomers 1,1,2,2-tetrakis(4-formyl-(1,1'-biphenyl))ethane (TFBE) and 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid trihydrazide (BTCH) were selected to build novel hydrazone connected stable polymer (H-COP) high stability by typical Schiff-base reaction. The N2 sorption study, BET surface area...
