Self-ion irradiation of pure tungsten with 2 MeV W ions provides a way simulating microstructures generated by neutron in components fusion reactor. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) has been used to characterize defects formed samples ion irradiation. It was found that irradiated 0.85 dpa at relatively low temperatures develops characteristic microstructure dominated dislocation loops and black dots. The density size distribution these were estimated. Some the exposed self-ion then...

Analytical precision of the isotope ratios measured by quadrupole-based ICP-MS is drastically controlled lowfrequency noises which originate from nebulisation and vaporisation processes, sample introduction systems. The undesirable influence these latter can be however reduced choosing efficiently operating parameters. In present study, choice stabilisation time necessary in peak jump mode, one number sweeps are discussed light noise power spectra obtained with various speeds peristaltic pump...

A new heating and gas treatment line for Thermo-Desorption Spectrometry (TDS) of noble gases (He, Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe) is presented. It was built with the primary objective to offer advanced temperature controls capabilities while working in a cold environment. By choosing high-power continuous wave laser as source using proportional-integral-derivative controller system, TDS can now be performed fast highly steady ramps (e.g., less than 1 °C deviation from set point ≤1 s-1 ramps). Sample over...

Molybdenum is used as plasma-facing material in tokamaks and for plasma optical diagnostics mirrors. Harsh conditions of neutron irradiation, exposure to hydrogen isotopes helium ions, high operating temperatures result degradation the molybdenum surface ultimately limit their lifetime a fusion power plant. In current paper, intake subsequent thermal release deuterium from self-irradiated by energy (1 MeV) ions function irradiation dose are investigated. Several characteristic temperature...

A double focusing sector field mass filter used in Nier–Johnson geometry has been built order to perform Kr isotope enrichment for 81Kr and 85Kr isotopes. The principle consists implanting Kr+ ions accelerated at 7 keV Al foils after separation using the magnetic sector. specific ion source designed capable of generating high beams (>0.5 μA) transfer into collecting 3 5 h significant fractions large samples (1015 1016 atoms) initially introduced instrument. Implanted isotopes can be further...
