We report the complete GNO solar neutrino results for measuring periods III, II, and I. The result III (last 15 runs) is [54.3 + 9.9 - 9.3 (stat.)+- 2.3 (syst.)] SNU (1 sigma) or 10.2 9.6 (incl. syst.)] with errors combined. experiment now terminated after altogether 58 exposure runs that were performed between May 20, 1998 April 9, 2003. combined (I+II+III) [62.9 5.5 5.3 (stat.) +- 2.5 6.0 5.9] in quadrature. Overall, gallium based observations at LNGS (first GALLEX, later GNO) lasted from...
The fully contained events detected in the NUSEX nucleon stability experiment have been analysed to search for possible anomalies fluxes of atmospheric neutrinos. measured flux muon neutrinos is very good agreement with predictions and no anomaly has found ratio between rate electron neutrino events.
Two bolometers composed of tin absorbers and neutron transmutation doped (NTD) Ge thermistors have been fabricated in preparation for experiments nuclear subnuclear physics. Both detectors fully resolve the two ${K}_{\ensuremath{\alpha}1}$ ${K}_{\ensuremath{\alpha}2}$ lines ${}^{55}\mathrm{Mn}$. The deconvolved FWHM resolution this energy region ranges from 4.5 to 5.7 eV, different published values intrinsic widths asymmetries these lines, best ever obtained at with any dispersive detector....
$^{209}\mathrm{Bi}$ alpha decay to the ground and first excited state have been recently observed for time with a large BGO scintillating bolometer. The half-life of is determined be ${\ensuremath{\tau}}_{1/2}=(2.01\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.08)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{19}\text{ }\mathrm{yr}$ while branching ratio ground-state transition $(98.8\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.3)%$.
