The relationship between intracranial and sagittal sinus pressure in normal kaolin-induced hydrocephalic greyhounds was examined. In dogs there an average 14 mm Hg difference the ventricles sinus. Elevations of intraventricular were accompanied by small but consistent elevations pressure. differential only 2 Hg. Also greater pressures than those seen dogs. volume-buffering capacity decreased, sinography revealed filling unusual venous collaterals – both suggesting increased resistance to outflow
