ABSTRACT Visible‐infrared person re‐identification (VI‐ReID) aims to match pedestrian images captured by nonoverlapping visible and infrared cameras. Most existing compensation‐based methods try generate of missing modality from the other ones. However, generated often fail possess enough quality due severe discrepancies between different modalities. Moreover, it is generally assumed that are roughly aligned during extraction part‐based local features. this does not always hold true,...

An account is given of the properties a continuous simulated annealing algorithm that can function as global optimization tool for nonsmooth dynamic systems, shown in case trajectory-optimization program implementation. The approach to successfully solve problem trajectory high performance rigid-body aircraft. results obtained demonstrate superiority over widely used algorithms.

Recent efforts on person re-identification have shown promising results by learning discriminative features via the multi-branch network. To further boost feature discrimination, attention mechanism has also been extensively employed. However, branches main level rarely communicate with others in existing branching models, which may compromise ability of mining diverse features. mitigate this issue, a novel framework called Hierarchical Attentive Feature Aggregation (Hi-AFA) is proposed. In...

In person re-identification most metric learning methods learn from training data only once, and then they are deployed for testing. Although impressive performance has been achieved, the discriminative information successfully identified test samples ignored. this work, we present a novel framework termed Iterative Multiple Kernel Metric Learning (IMKML). Specifically, there two main modules in IMKML. first module, multiple metrics learned via new derived Marginal Nullspace (KMNL)...

Abstract Recent efforts on person re-identification have shown promising results by learning discriminative features via multi-branch network. To further boost feature discrimination, attention mechanism has also been extensively employed. However, the branches in existing models generally work independently, which may compromise ability of mining diverse features. mitigate this issue, a novel framework called Hierarchical Attentive Feature Aggregation (Hi-AFA) is proposed. In Hi-AFA,...

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is a new form of online education that has attracted increasing attention from the Chinese community in recent years. Traditional English CAI (Computer-Assisted Instruction) does not pay enough to differences among students teaching and cannot provide more comprehensive services. In traditional LTSA (Learning Technology Systems Architecture) framework, relationship between teachers resources dominant, while learners ignored. The MOOC system can balance...
