Screening of an appropriate enhanced oil recovery (EOR) technique is important for the maximum reservoir and economics exploration production project. The conventional approaches selecting EOR are often time-consuming may fail to produce satisfactory results complex reservoirs. This paper focuses on implementing selected five supervised machine learning (ML) techniques accurate screening methods Two them never used before screening. A global database 358 successful projects collected which...

An audiomagnetotelluric (AMT) study has been carried out in the Bakreswar Hot Spring (BHS) area of eastern India to locate geothermal source vicinity BHS. Phase-tensor analysis AMT data shows that region is broadly 2D. Rapid relaxation inversion (RRI) for both transverse-electric (TE) and transverse-magnetic (TM) modes obtain resistivity images subsurface. results show north-south fault close a shallow feature, not deeper than [Formula: see text], thus cannot act as heat source. Abstract Sweet spots are the areas where reservoir parameters suitable for maximum production with least possible footprint and investment. The high complexity of reservoirs, absent or insufficient seismic data requirement a great number wells major challenges hence, sweet spot identification during exploration stage is key optimized appraisal Coal bed Methane (CBM) field. Identifying controlling that impact first foremost step towards demarcating spot. A unique workflow consisting...

Abstract Relative permeability is one of the most important properties in Coal bed methane/gas (CBM/CBG) fields for reliable reservoir modelling due to two-phase fluid flow. In CBM reservoirs, biggest challenges remains with high unreliability laboratory experimental relative data inherent nature coal. The scope this study define shape curve using available production analysis. interplay between water and gas within coal cleats affects mobility both gas. Sohagpur blocks India, there enough...

Precise and accurate determination of the magnetotelluric (MT) impedance is fundamental to valid interpretation. This paper deals with results hybrid processing schemes in conjunction remote reference (RR), for a typical site out several sites collected over wide band data (∼10 3 10 −3 Hz). The standard practice MT estimation use robust referencing. by technique helps reducing effect outliers electric field but often not sensitive exceptional predictor (magnetic field) data, which are called...

Accurate daily oil production forecasting is essential for efficient reservoir management and investment strategy. Forecasting in enhanced recovery (EOR) conformance-dominated fields a complex process due to the nonlinear, voluminous, often uncertain nature of parameters hidden factors. As result, conventional tools such as decline curve analysis frequently fail accurately predict conformance-controlled areas. In contrast, machine learning works efficiently large datasets, even if parameter...

Audio magnetotelluric (AMT) and (MT) studies were carried out in the western part of Bakreswar geothermal region covering an area 330 square km. Apparent resistivity maps obtained from AMT results delineated a well defined conducting zone at lower frequencies. survey vicinity hot spring (BHS) shows that there is no deep geoelectrical structure near which can act as source hydrothermal system. Both MT confirm location major electrically considerable importance.
