We co-facilitated a mandatory community-led experiential learning activity for medical students with the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa that demonstrates feasibility and positive impact of incorporating into school curriculum.
Background: In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted competency-based medical education in Family Medicine programs across Canada. Faculty and residents identified a need for clear, relevant, specific competencies to frame teaching, learning, supervision feedback during pandemic.
