Abstract Temperature determination of laser-induced plasma generated in water is great importance for a better understanding underwater breakdown spectroscopy as well plasma-based techniques. In this work, we measured the temperature by using optical emission spectroscopy. The was calculated respectively from Saha-Boltzmann plot Ca I 422.67 nm, II 393.37 and 396.85 nm lines, OH molecular band A2Σ+−X2Π around 310 nm. It shows that time window 75 ns to 700 ns, decreases 12700 K 7700 K, which...

Cardiovascular disease has become one of the leading causes death in China, accounting for 45.5% all deaths rural areas and 43.16% urban areas. Hence, its early diagnosis is important. With development intravascular imaging technology, ultrasound (IVUS) widely used. The available commercial mechanical rotary side-looking IVUS (SL-IVUS) transducers are driven by external motors that use long flexible shafts to transmit rotation. However, when transducer passes through a long-curved blood...

In recent years, the manufacturing process of lead zinc niobate-lead titanate [Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3, also called PZN-PT], has been enhanced with improvements in size, consistency, and a suitable compromise between piezoelectric properties phase transition temperature, which means that it is possible to obtain PZN-PT single crystals sufficient size for performance characterization studies batch produce high-performance medical ultrasonic transducers. This article mainly focuses on...

In clinical monitoring, thermodilution is seen to be the gold standard in assessment of patient's cardiac output, with using pulmonary artery catheter. However, this method requires injecting a certain amount cold water into body, which may disrupt their internal environment balance and cause serious consequences, such as cardiopulmonary failure. order eliminate drawback, we have proposed novel dual-mode intravascular ultrasound catheter replace traditional method. study, consists an...

In recent years, large-size lead zinc niobate-Iead titanate (PZN-PT) single crystals can be obtained due to the improvement of its manufacturing process. Compared zirconate (PZT) ceramics, such novel PZN-PT offer higher electromechanical coupling coefficients and piezoelectric constants, presents great potential significantly increase bandwidth sensitivity medical ultrasound transducers. However, has a relatively low Curie temperature (about 160 °C), properties start deteriorate at around...
