The first use of macrolide antibiotic clarithromycin (CLM) in nonaqueous media for enantioseparation (partial or baseline) the following compounds: alprenolol, atenolol, metoprolol, clenbuterol, methoxyphenamine, pindolol, propranolol, sotalol, synephrine, labetalol, and fenoterol is reported. Each analysis took less than 15 min. To find optimal separation conditions, some properties CLM (adsorption, solubility), as well effect experimental parameters on analytes (background electrolyte...

A new silica-based, mixed-binary chiral sorbent grafted with the macrocyclic antibiotic eremomycin and bovine serum albumin (BSA) was obtained. The sorbent-filled high-performance liquid chromatography column capable of enantioseparation racemic drugs, such as profens, in reversed-phase-chromatography mode. eremomycin-BSA-sorbent showed better capability for profens compared a containing only. BSA onto surface significantly reduced retention times other proteins from analyte solution, free...

Abstract A hepta‐substituted β‐cyclodextrin bearing seven amino groups, heptakis(6‐amino‐6‐deoxy)‐β‐cyclodextrin (per‐6‐NH 2 ‐β‐CD) was successfully used as a chiral selector for the enantioseparation of different anionic analytes. The running buffer pH and concentration were studied parameters crucial in achieving maximum possible enantioresolution. Enantiomeric separation mixture carboxybenzyl‐amino acids achieved 24 min. Excellent resolution obtained carboxybenzyl‐tryptophan ( R s = 11.2).

Abstract Strong adsorption of eremomycin on the fused‐silica capillary wall was used for separation enantiomers by CE. The with adsorbed chiral selector shown to be easily prepared and has reproducible properties. effect concentration, pH composition BGE, applied voltage enantioseparation acidic compounds, such as profens aromatic carboxylic acids, investigated. Two native α‐amino aspartic acid glutamic acid, were enantioseparated. Fourteen tested compounds (including amino acids) baseline...

Two silica capillaries modified layer-by-layer with 6,10-ionene and N-(3-sulfo-3-carboxy)-propionylchitosan (SCPC) dextran sulfate (DS) were prepared investigated. Dynamic coating of the capillary efficiently reduces adsorption background electrolyte, sample matrix components, analytes on its inner wall. Such coatings effect good reproducibility sensitivity determination. We demonstrate that separation betablockers, calcium channel blockers, alpha-adrenergic agonists, H 1 -blockers,...
