Molecular dynamics simulation is used to study the mechanisms involved in adsorption of various ions basal surfaces kaolinite. Analysis data indicates that cations and anions adsorb preferably on siloxane gibbsite kaolinite, respectively. Strong inner-sphere chlorine at aluminum vacancies surface occurrence chlorine-driven cesium sodium for high ionic strengths are observed. Cesium form strong complexes ditrigonal cavities surface. Outer-sphere highly mobile only weak may occur. A small...

Geompolymers and their engineering applications have attracted significant attention of the scientific community. This is due to properties such as good thermal stability high resistance aggressive environments. Most studies on this subject are based traditional precursor materials calcined kaolinite clay (metakaolinite) fly ash. The iron content significant, reaching around 10% in metakaolinite, for instance. role geopolymers still lacks systematic investigation. can be attributed...

Functionalized Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) have emerged as a promising contrast agent for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Their synthesis and functionalization methodology strongly affect their performance in vivo. The most used the literature of NPs is thermal decomposition, which has proven to be time-consuming, expensive, laborious, it requires further ligand exchange strategies transfer as-synthesized from organic aqueous solvents. This work describes rapid facile sonochemical synthesize...

Solution processable semiconductor oxides have opened a new paradigm for the enhancement of lifetime thin film solar cells. Their fabrication by low-cost and environmentally friendly solution-processable methods makes them ideal barrier (hole electron) transport layers. In this work, we fabricate flexible ITO-free organic cells (OPV) printing applying an aqueous solution-processed V2O5 as hole layer (HTL) compared to devices PEDOT:PSS. The transparent conducting electrode was...

Potassium niobophosphate glasses and glass-ceramics of the family [xNb2O5.(50-x) P2O5.50K2O]:yFe2O3 were studied by x-ray powder diffraction, infrared Raman scattering spectroscopy. For potassium-phosphate samples [50P2O5-50K2O] iron oxide presents a network former behaviour, for 2 mol% Fe2O3 doping. The precipitation crystalline K4Nb6O17 ferroelectric KNbO3 crystals was confirmed diffraction in with x = 40 50 respectively. spectroscopy results suggest that increase ratio Nb2O5/P2O5 leads...
