Abstract We produced and characterised biochar made from Caribbean pine sawdust as raw material. The (BC 500 ) was used biocompatible support to co-inoculate phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) /PSB) on Allium cepa L., plants at a greenhouse scale for four months. three biomaterials study included proximate analysis, elemental aromaticity scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), adsorption studies different pH PSB stability function of time. results...

This paper proposes an integrated system architecture composed by a custom-designed lightweight Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and novel method for low-altitude autonomous flight called Backstepping+DAF. Simulations experimental results are carried out to evaluate how steady is achieved means of the proposed controller that consequently enables GPR detection buried objects with similar materials morphology real explosive landmines.

In peri-urban areas of Bogota, people harvest and use untreated rainwater. Initial research indicates that water collected from roofs contains high turbidity values, as well concentrations total suspended solids, biochemical oxygen demand 5-Day heavy metals. Moreover, these do not generally have access to public sewer systems. An eco-productive green roof with the aim reducing poverty improving quality life communities located Bogota has been described examined. These eco-roofs are made...

In this paper we present an approach for analyzing the inertial effects of changing wing shape steering a bat-like robot. Using BaTboT, robotic platform with massive morphing-wings, have estimated generation pitching and rolling torques, which are directly related to forward turning maneuvers. Results let us conclude that faster retraction wings during upstroke, slower extension downstroke increase both torques in about 50% compared those wingbeats equal periods retraction/extension. Also,...
