We study the population of ultra-diffuse galaxies (UDGs) in a set eight nearby (|$z$| < 0.035) galaxy clusters, from Kapteyn IAC WEAVE INT Clusters Survey. report discovery 442 UDG candidates our field views, with 247 these lying at projected distances <1R200 their host cluster. With aim testing theories about formation, we scaling relations UDGs comparing different types galaxies, finding that full parameter space they behave as dwarf and colours do not seem to correlate effective radii....

In this work, we extend the catalog of low-surface brightness (LSB) galaxies, including ultra-diffuse galaxy (UDG) candidates, within ≈0.4 R vir Hydra I cluster galaxies based on deep images from VST Early-type GAlaxy Survey (VEGAS). The new were found by applying an automatic detection tool and carrying out additional visual inspections g r band images. This led to 11 UDGs 8 more LSB galaxies. For all them, assessed membership using color–magnitude relation derived for early-type giant...

The number of Ultra-Diffuse Galaxies (UDGs) in clusters is significant importance to constrain models their formation and evolution. Furthermore, distribution inside may tell us something about interactions with environments. In this work we revisit the abundance UDGs a more consistent way than previous studies. We add new data eight from Kapteyn IAC WEAVE INT Clusters Survey (KIWICS), covering mass range which only few have been studied before, complement these compilation works literature...

At ~50 Mpc, the Hydra I cluster of galaxies is among closest in z=0 Universe, and an ideal environment to study dwarf galaxy properties a environment. We exploit deep imaging data construct new photometric catalog core, which then used derive population as well compare with other clusters. The disruption of substructure in galaxy clusters likely plays an important role shaping the cluster population as a significant fraction galaxies today have spent time previous host system, and thus may been pre-processed. Once inside cluster, group face combined environmental effects from - so called 'post-processing'. We investigate these concepts, by tracking evolution satellites their hosts after entering find that tidal forces during first pericentric passage are very efficient at...

We analyse a sample of twelve galaxy clusters, from the Kapteyn IAC WEAVE INT Cluster Survey (KIWICS) looking for dwarf candidates. By using photometric data in $r$ and $g$ bands Wide Field Camera (WFC) at 2.5-m Isaac Newton telescope (INT), we select bright galaxies (M$_r$ $\leq$ -15.5 mag) each cluster their spatial distribution, stellar colour, as well S\'ersic index effective radius. quantify fraction inside $R_{200}$ radius cluster, which ranges $\sim$ 0.7 to 0.9. Additionally, when...

We investigate low-mass central galaxies with Mstar = $10^{9.5}-10^{10}$ Msun/h, located near massive groups and galaxy clusters using the TNG300 MDPL2-SAG simulations. set out to study their evolution, aiming find hints about large-scale conformity signal they produce. also use a control sample of far away from structures.
